A note from your neighbor

A first hello can become part of everyday life.

I started this project because I wanted my neighborhood to feel more like a community — familiar faces, grocery store hellos, spontaneous nearby plans, and neighbors who support each other.
It felt strange that we have so many ways to meet people all over the city, but almost none to help us connect with the awesome people right around us. So I built Hey There Neighbor to make it easier to meet those people — and turn proximity into actual relationships. 1200 people have already signed up. Many of us have made friends, started groups, and one neighbor even hired another one.
